Australian Skin Clinics first to launch new micro-needling technology

Australian Skin Clinics leads the way in innovation in micro-needling as the first medi-aesthetic clinic to offer the latest Nanopore micro-needling technology in Australia.

Nanopore is the next generation in micro-needling, using innovative new technology to treat skin faster and without any anaesthetic cream thanks to the speed of the Nanopore device, resized micro-needles and lack of needle vibration.

Australian Skin Clinics National Training Manager, Darlene O’Gara, said Nanopore is the treatment that will trick your brain as the micro-injuries created trigger the body’s natural healing process, resulting in increased cell turnover and production of collagen and elastin with relatively no pain.

“This is one of the most exciting treatments to hit Australia this year and we’re thrilled to be able to offer this revolutionary new treatment to our clients at Australian Skin Clinics and be at the forefront of advancement in the industry,” Ms O’Gara said.

“Nanopore uses fine needles to create invisible punctures that deeply stimulate the skin, treating wrinkles and fine lines, skin elasticity, uneven texture and tone, open pores, acne-prone skin, dehydration and under-eye bags and dark circles.

Nanopore is particularly effective in the treatment of darker skin tones and addressing issues with pigmentation.

“The Nanopore device operate so quickly with such fine needles that the treatment is completely pain-free and delivers visible results that you really can’t achieve at home with a standard dermal roller.

Ms O’Gara said the way the treatment uses the body’s own natural healing process to stimulate collagen and elastin production, and the growth of new skin cells means it’s incredibly effective in treating signs of aging, as well as a myriad of other skin issues.

“As well as reducing skin’s imperfections, Nanopore micro-needling also allows active ingredients in skincare and other treatments to penetrate the deepest layers of the skin and improves communication between skin cells,” she said.

“The treatment is also the only treatment and technology in the country that allows technicians to successfully target ageing around the sensitive eye area, combatting the signs of ageing like never before.
